Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly skilled individual to perform as an Associate Manager and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Meridian program’s Enterprise Integration Team. This position will serve as a functional manager for 5-10 software engineers.
As a Software Engineering Cost Account Manager, you will:
- Establish and assess progress multiple Control Accounts (CA) and Work Packages (WP)
- Define and assess completion of scope against the work breakdown structure and organization breakdown structure in accordance with Agile planning and program integrated master schedule
- Plan, assign and determine program performance based on earned value techniques, using Agile processes
- Ensure time phased budget reflects contractual requirements
- Review data for supporting cost and schedule analysis, including identifying and communicating risks and opportunities
- Supply status and updates to the program schedule and Jira planning
- Provide objective progress assessments to the program stakeholders
- Prepare/approve/accept Work Authorizations Documents
- Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Perform functional leadership responsibilities, including workforce management (re-assignments, placements, recruitment, and selection of new employees, and terminations)
- Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance, and compensation management)
Manages software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.
