About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operations Director, you will serve as the primary leader for a high-volume production facility, overseeing all aspects of operational excellence and strategic growth. You will drive performance across safety, quality, and efficiency metrics while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities-
Direct all daily plant operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and production goals.

Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and TQM, to optimize throughput and reduce waste.

Manage complex JIT (Just-in-Time) production schedules to ensure seamless customer delivery and supply chain reliability.

Oversee plant financial health, including budget development, P&L forecasting, and rigorous cost control.

Lead and mentor a diverse workforce of hourly and salaried personnel to build a high-performance, accountable culture.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to execute manufacturing strategies and support audit requirements.

Optimize logistics, inventory control, and material flow to maintain operational agility.

8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proven track record in a Plant Manager or Operations Manager capacity.

Expertise in JIT manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Strong background in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.

Demonstrated ability to manage plant financials, budgets, and operational metrics.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-building capabilities.

Direct experience within the automotive manufacturing sector.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.

Experience with VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) and quality management systems.
