Duties
- Safely operate a range of trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrig flatbeds, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
- Follow established routes and schedules diligently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery priorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit.
- Uphold safety protocols at all times, including proper load securement on flatbeds operations involving hazardous or specialized freight.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards applicable to trucking operations.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week
