As Lead Window Installer, you will oversee and participate in the installation of residential replacement windows. You will lead a small installation crew, ensure jobs are completed efficiently, correctly and to company quality standards, and act as the primary on-site liaison for our customers. You will also ensure job site safety, proper documentation, and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 1-3 installers/assistants, assigning tasks and ensuring quality workmanship throughout each job.
- Perform hands-on installation of windows according to manufacturer specifications and company standards — including removal of old windows, prepping openings, flashing/sealing, installing new units, finishing trim/capping/caulking, cleanup.
- Review job packets/measurements, verify that materials and tools are on site and match specifications.
- Communicate with homeowners on-site: introduce yourself, explain installation process, answer questions/concerns, confirm satisfaction.
- Ensure job site is safe, tidy and professional at all times; ensure installers are using proper ladders, fall protection or scaffolding when required.
- Monitor and report progress on jobs: time, materials used, issues encountered, delays. Provide feedback to management.
- Train and mentor junior installers and helpers — share installation best practices, safety protocols and company standards.
- Maintain company vehicle/tools/trailer: ensure clean, organized, stocked.
- Uphold quality control: inspect finished work, identify and correct defects, ensure windows operate correctly, are sealed properly, and trim is finished neatly.
- Adhere to all building codes, OSHA/regulatory safety standards, manufacturer warranties and installation guidelines.
- Represent Exterior Pros professionally: punctual, clean appearance, courteous with customers and coworkers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on window installation experience (residential replacement windows preferred).
- Strong knowledge of window installation techniques: bending metal, flashing, weatherproofing, trim work, caulking, level/plumb/square installations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (ability to drive company vehicle/trailer as required).
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolds, at heights, outdoors in variable Wisconsin weather; ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) safely. wrightwaybuilt.com+1
- Excellent communication skills: ability to interact professionally with homeowners, team members and management.
- Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, ability to solve problems on the job, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
