Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking using specialized equipment such as <PERSON> pickers and order picker machines to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting for damage, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain organized storage by stacking pallets safely and utilizing warehouse management systems for inventory control.
- Perform routine equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting on forklifts and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by participating in materials handling tasks that promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow OSHA safety standards diligently, including proper lifting techniques and safe operation of all heavy equipment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment.
- Experience with warehouse supervision or managing warehouse operations is a plus.

Pay: $22.90 - $27.58 per hour
