Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and explain the benefits of various CBD offerings
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling complementary items to maximize their satisfaction and store sales
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
- Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and assist with stocking duties to keep the store organized
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information remotely
- Educate customers on proper product usage, dosage, and safety guidelines in a clear and professional manner
- Support team supervision by mentoring new staff members and assisting in daily store operations when needed
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or health & wellness environment
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities
- Strong communication skills in both English and another language (bilingual candidates preferred)
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers effectively about CBD products
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and inventory management practices
- Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for retail transactions and cash reconciliation tasks
