What You'll Do
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding medical care to our patients while supporting pet owners through every stage of their pet's health journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring hospitalized patients, and assisting with treatments
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and cytology specimens
- Obtaining diagnostic radiographs and assisting with imaging procedures
- Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patients during surgical and dental procedures
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures
- Educating clients about medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and home care instructions
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
- Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Safely and compassionately handling patients of all sizes and temperaments
What We're Looking For
- Current Michigan Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
- Strong clinical and technical skills
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
