About the Role:
Precise Metal Products is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support and develop aerospace manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace fabrication and machining and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed work instructions (MOTs), setup sheets, and process plans
- Design and validate machining processes for complex aerospace fabrications
- Develop tooling solutions including fixtures, work holding, gauges, and cutting tools
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing and quality issues
- Perform manufacturability reviews on technical drawings
- Develop and maintain routers and related documentation
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years in aerospace fabrication, welding, forming, machining, and processing
- 2+ years developing machining processes for complex assemblies
- 3+ years working with brake presses, CNC punching, laser cutting, hydroforming, CNC lathes/mills, and welding
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; Mastercam a plus)
- Experience with complex aerospace materials and OEM requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
