Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Project Architect to join our dynamic design and construction team. The ideal candidate will lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring that all phases are executed with precision, creativity, and adherence to client requirements. This role demands a strong proficiency in project management, technical drafting, and construction processes, with an emphasis on delivering sustainable, functional, and aesthetically compelling architectural solutions. The Project Architect will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project delivery while fostering business development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of design concepts, ensuring alignment with client visions and project goals
- Prepare detailed construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino 3D
- Coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments efficiently
- Utilize Bluebeam for digital markup, review, and collaboration on project drawings
- Conduct construction estimating and budgeting to support project feasibility and cost control
- Oversee construction management activities, including site visits and quality assurance
- Negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, and contractors to secure favorable terms
- Develop innovative design solutions using Grasshopper 3D and 3ds Max for complex geometries
- Manage project workflows using project management software to track progress and deliverables
- Support business development efforts through client presentations and proposal preparations
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and contractual obligations
Experience
Candidates should possess a comprehensive background in architecture or related fields with demonstrated experience in both design and construction phases. A minimum of five years of professional experience is preferred, particularly within renovation projects or interior design contexts. Familiarity with a broad range of software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), SketchUp, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), NavisWorks for clash detection, and Bluebeam is essential. Experience in construction estimating, budgeting, contract negotiation, and construction management will be highly valued. Applicants should demonstrate strong skills in project scheduling, negotiation tactics, business development strategies, and contract management. A solid understanding of CAD drafting standards alongside practical knowledge of renovation processes will ensure success in this role.
