Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a Special Education (SPED) Teacher
- Active Oregon SPED (Special Education) teaching license required
- Proven expertise in providing direct instructional support, program development, and behavioral or health services coordination
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage confidential student information with care
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of special education programs in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support teachers and staff in adapting curriculum and instructional methods for students with diverse learning needs
- Facilitate communication between families, school staff, and outside agencies to ensure comprehensive student support
- Organize and monitor health and behavioral interventions for students receiving special education services
