Lifetime Adoption is seeking a full-time Adoption Support Coordinator to join our team in Florida. We are looking for someone whose personal values reflect compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve others.
This unique role is approximately 50% outreach and 50% adoption support, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact both behind the scenes and through relationship-building in the community.
In this position, you will help support women considering adoption and the families hoping to adopt by assisting our coordinators with important administrative and communication tasks. You will also play a key role in outreach efforts by making calls and building relationships with organizations and professionals who may serve women facing unplanned pregnancies.
Responsibilities include:
Adoption Coordinator Support
- Assist adoption coordinators with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Gather information and documentation as needed
- Process records requests and other paperwork
- Data entry and CRM/database updates
- Assist with communication and follow-up tasks
- Provide general support to help ensure women and families receive timely, compassionate service
Outreach & Relationship Building
- Make outbound calls and visits to organizations
- Build and maintain referral relationships
- Follow up with contacts and provide information about Lifetime Adoption’s services
- Help expand awareness of adoption as a positive option for women in unplanned pregnancy situations through social media and other means
The ideal candidate is:
- Compassionate and mission-minded
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable on the phone and confident making outbound calls
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
- Experienced with social media platforms
Experience in adoption, social services, outreach, or administrative support is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- A minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Ability to assist with after-hours on-call phone rotation.
- Able to respond to change productively and effectively perform other essential tasks as assigned.
- Optional: Bi-lingual in Spanish
