American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Ambulatory Outpatient Allergy/Immunology clinic position requiring WI or compact RN license and at least 1 year of clinic experience.

Outpatient allergy, immunology, and asthma/pulmonary clinic setting
-
Treats adult and pediatric patients including seasonal, drug, and pediatric food allergies
-
Average daily census of 16-24 patients
-
Assigned to specific locations while following a specific provider
-
Approximately 4-5 exam rooms per site
-
8-hour day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
-
Schedule varies by day and location, including alternating Thursday/Friday coverage when the provider is in
-
No weekend rotation required
-
No on-call or call-back requirements
-
No holiday coverage required
-
Expected to float to other clinics as needed based on contract requirements
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of clinic setting experience required; allergy clinic experience highly preferred
-
Skilled in triage, phone triage, rooming patients, administering injections, and taking vitals
-
Experience with medication/history review, allergy reviews, and allergy questionnaires
-
Comfortable working with pediatric patients
-
IV skills and spirometry experience preferred
-
Epic Ambulatory EMR experience preferred but not required
-
Candidate must provide middle name/initial and DOB and last 4 of SSN for consideration

At least one professional reference dated within the last year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
-
Responsibilities include patient triage, rooming, injections, vitals, medication and history review, and fielding medication refill requests
-
Works alongside 4 providers and 3-4 RNs per clinic per day, plus patient service representatives at the front desk
-
Manager/Supervisor available daily via Teams and floats through each clinic for support
-
1 week of orientation (New Employee Orientation) required, with additional time possible based on skillset
-
Up to 5 days of RTO can be approved
-
Scrubs of any color are permitted
-

Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for this travel assignment
