Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about metal fabrication and assembly.
Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural parts
- Operate forklifts and rigging equipment safely for material handling and positioning during fabrication or installation processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments with a strong focus on welding and fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks
- Valid certification or experience in crane operation and forklift driving is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
