Summary/Objective
The press operator is responsible for handling press operations for Service Tool and Plastics and adhering to the Quality Policy and QMS procedures.
- We have openings for
- 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3 pm)
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11 pm)
- 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday, 11 pm - 7 am)
Essential Functions - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Perform typical press operations to support the assembly floor.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Operate or tend machines to cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch or bend plastic material
- Monitor the press operations and record data
- Use of sharp blades and cutters
- Daily sign off on work instructions located on every press

Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
