We are looking for a dependable Service Lane Porter who takes pride in staying organized, helping the team, and maintaining a professional service drive.
Cloninger Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Lane Porter to support daily service department operations. This role focuses on vehicle movement, customer assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe service lane environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced dealership setting.
Ability to commute to Cloninger Ford in Hickory, NC
In person, on site position
Valid driver’s license required
Move customer vehicles to and from the service drive, shop, and parking areas
Greet customers and assist service advisors as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane and customer waiting areas
Perform vehicle shuttling and light driving tasks
Assist with keeping keys and vehicles organized
Follow dealership safety policies and procedures
Support technicians and service advisors with daily tasks
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
