As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, developing, operating and improving the Estate Recovery Section. Additional responsibilities include:

participation in program planning and policy settings along with the development of procedures.

coordination of recovery claims and payments as well as estate recovery processes to ensure that the Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus; non-Medicaid Family Care; Community Options Program; and the Wisconsin Chronic Disease Program recover the fullest amount practicable.
In addition, this position works with a wide range of contacts including high-level Department, Division and Bureau managers, and officials of other state agencies, federal officials, Legislators, lobbyists, professional organizations, Medicaid officials, and the Medicaid fiscal agent.
