Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with all legal and professional standards
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and adherence
- Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and support safe, effective therapy
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
- Maintain complete and compliant patient medication records
- Deliver a high standard of patient-centered care in a community pharmacy setting
Qualifications
- Active New York Pharmacist license
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Comfortable interacting directly with patients and prescribers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Professional, dependable, and interested in a more relationship-driven pharmacy environment
