Bellevue Animal Hospital is a busy, growing, independent small animal practice located in Nashville TN which has been in business for over 40 years. We are located in an expanding community with an excellent client base. We are a fully equipped facility, caring for our patients in a team based environment. We have 2 veterinarians on staff and provide our clients with full spectrum care for their pets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting veterinarians with a variety of procedures, including administering medications and vaccinations, drawing blood, and preparing animals for surgery including inducing, intubating and placing IV catheters.
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments, interacting with clients to take histories, reviewing estimates, provide education and information.
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals.
- Restrain animals in a gentle, low stress manner.
Personal Qualifications:
- High school diploma (required)
- Associates degree (preferred)
- TN License (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to thrive in a team based workplace
