JOB The Michigan Intelligence Operations Center is requesting that the DSEMIIC Commander position be established as a civilian Departmental Manager position. The duties of this position are primarily administrative, supervisory, analytical, and program-management focused. The position is responsible for managing personnel, coordinating partner agencies, overseeing intelligence and information-sharing processes, supporting grant and budget-related responsibilities, and ensuring DSEMIIC operates in coordination with the MIOC. This position does not require sworn law enforcement authority to perform its essential functions. The core responsibilities are centered on leadership, intelligence operations, policy and procedure development, privacy and civil liberties compliance, partner coordination, and homeland security information sharing. A civilian manager with the appropriate intelligence, investigative, supervisory, and homeland security experience can effectively perform these duties while allowing sworn personnel to remain focused on law enforcement operations requiring police authority. This position will perform functions in a bias free manner.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION This position requires passing a pre-employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.
