Entry-Level Tax Preparer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Tax Preparer to join our growing accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of data entry related to W-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents (experience preferred but not required). This role is essential to supporting our firm’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related documents accurately into our tax software.
- Perform precise and efficient data entry to support timely tax preparation.
- Assist the tax preparation team by organizing and verifying client documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.
Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of, but not required, data entry of W-2s, 1099s, and other basic tax documents.
- Comfortable working with tax preparation software is a plus.
- Ability to review and organize financial documents efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in an office, bookkeeping, or accounting environment is a plus but not required.

Pay: $24.99 - $25.00 per hour
