Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our growing practice. We are committed to providing exceptional medical care while creating a positive, low-stress experience for our patients, clients, and team members.

As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff in a collaborative environment where patient well-being, client education, and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Utilize low-stress handling and restraint techniques to promote patient comfort and safety
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical patients
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures
- Collect and process samples
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Educate clients on preventative care, treatments, and wellness plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Advocate for patient comfort and welfare throughout all stages of care
- Assist with client communication and appointment flow
Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential or eligible to obtain within 12 months.
- Passion for compassionate patient care and low-stress handling practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, patient-centered approach
- Experience in small animal practice preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Low Stress Handling Certification a plus
