What you’ll do
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and warmth, making them feel at home from the moment they arrive.
- Manage reservations efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow while ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Assist in managing waitlists during peak times to keep guests informed and engaged.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills that foster positive interactions with guests and team members alike.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or guest services enhances your candidacy.
- Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when managing reservations or inquiries.
