Part time, benefited position available on our night shift (7.5% night-shift differential). Some of the position responsibilities are as follows: Administer prescribed treatments and medications using the 5 rights (right patient, medication, time, dose and route); If IV certified, performs venipuncture and fluid administration per hospital standard; Accurately evaluates patient in an ongoing manner, the effectiveness of the treatment prescribed; Functions to establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment and supplies. Candidates must be willing to work both our Skilled Nursing Facility as well as our Med/Surg. departments. We are seeking a candidate with a current CA LVN license in good standing as well as a current BLS. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as an LVN; however we are willing to consider a new grad for these positions. Starting wage is $35/hour, plus benefits.
