The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong understanding of food and beverage service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in mixology, food handling, and customer interaction will play a vital role in enhancing our establishment's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Interact with customers to provide personalized service, taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
- Stay informed about current drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with brewing processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure during peak hours.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements.
