Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring seamless transactions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Provide attentive and friendly service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in accordance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties during shifts.
- Assist in food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Engage with guests to promote sales of food and beverages while creating a lively nightclub or banquet experience when applicable.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate billing.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Nice-to-have skills include catering experience, brewing knowledge, retail math proficiency, banquet experience, and familiarity with the food industry standards.
