We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to join our team at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, NY. As a Resident Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from various destinations, including appointments, hospitals, and social events. Responsibilities:
Drive the facility vehicle to transport residents to desired destinations, including appointments, hospitals, and social events
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, co-workers, visitors, and other individuals
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during transportation
Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and fuel usage
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to management
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery
Requirements:
Valid, unencumbered NYS driver's license
Ability to push, pull/lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
