Position is for 5 days a week (8 hours a day, M-F), NO Weekend and NO Holidays.

Position Shift Information:
Full-Time 40 hours (5 days a week)
The Operating Room Medical Assistant is an integral part of the patient care team. They will be responsible for assisting with the cleaning & sterilization of the operating rooms, and room turnover procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with O.R. room turnover.
- Cleaning and disinfecting rooms and equipment.
- Assists in equipment setup.
- Assists with patient positioning.
- Transport/collects supplies needed for surgery.
- Maintains cleaning supplies within surgical areas.
- Prepares supplies and stocks shelves in operating rooms.
- Sets up positioning equipment for surgical procedures based on the surgeon’s preference cards.
- High school graduate.
- Medical Assistant certification OR Nurse's Aide Certification
- Minimum one (1) year Medical Assistant or C.N.A. experience preferred.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be organized and have ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comprehension of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competency in oral and written skills.
- Team Player.
