Job Description:
Apotho Therapeutics Plainville is a local, family-owned Massachusetts-based cannabis company. We are currently seeking Budtenders to join the team at our Recreational Plainville Retail Facility. We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals who are interested in the cannabis industry and/or cannabis products.
No prior cannabis or retail experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Weekend availability is preferred.
The right candidate will have open availability (nights, weekends, and holidays) and can work anytime between 7:30am-10:30pm.
Shifts we're hiring for:
Position Duties:
- Greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization on the sales floor
- Handling and restocking in-house cannabis products
- Sharing basic knowledge of cannabis products with customers (training provided)
- Operating point-of-sale (POS) tablets to complete sales
- Working collaboratively in a team environment
- Verifying customer identification to ensure legal age compliance
- Processing customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Supporting dispensary security by:
- Monitoring customer flow and behavior inside and outside of the dispensary to ensure a safe retail environment
- Checking IDs when customers enter the building to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for access to the dispensary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
