Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
Perform physical therapy treatments, including but not limited to exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques
Monitor resident progress, report to physical therapists, and make recommendations for changes to treatment plans
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and effective communication
Participate in staff training and educational programs to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care
Demonstrate commitment to resident-centered care and strive to exceed resident expectations

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents according to established procedures and standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
