We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kennel Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in managing boarding facilities. As the Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our boarding facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and customer service are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of boarding staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all boarded animals, including monitoring health, administering medications, and addressing any medical concerns.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the hospital and boarding facility, including regular cleaning and disinfection of kennels, play areas, and common areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with our boarding services.
- Manage inventory of boarding and janitorial supplies and place orders as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and animals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a boarding facility, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and nutrition.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
