Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiology Interventional Technologist, where you will play a vital role in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. Radiology Interventional Technologists (RIT) working in the CVL play an integral role on our four-person teams. RITs not only operate our Philips fluoroscopy units, but they are also trained in setting up and operating various intravascular imaging (Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT), atherectomy equipment (including rotoblator, CSI, Shockwave, and laser), thrombectomy equipment (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari), and circulating during procedures. An ideal candidate for this team is an ambitious individual who is open to growing with the ever-changing field that is percutaneous interventional treatment. Someone who is excited to help others when they are at their lowest point - and can do so in a kind and compassionate manner. Under the direct supervision of the physician, provides Cardiovascular/Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders; Assists physician as required and does related work as assigned. Monitors radiation safety during procedures. Duties
- Prepare patients for various interventional radiology procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scanners, PET scanners, mammography units, DEXA scans, and ultrasound machines to capture detailed diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures by maintaining sterile technique (aseptic technique) and providing real-time imaging guidance.
- Ensure all imaging procedures adhere to established safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, including patient records, imaging logs, and incident reports.
- Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses during procedures to ensure stability and safety.
- Collaborate with emergency room staff and participate in urgent care or trauma situations, especially within Level I Trauma Center settings or Level II trauma centers.
- Stay current with advancements in diagnostic radiology techniques and participate in ongoing training related to nuclear medicine, sonography, mammography, DEXA scans, and other modalities.
- Full-Time/Day Shift

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab is preferred
Pay: $97,364.00 - $140,000.00 per year
