Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. You will be providing therapeutic 60-minute massages to our clinic patients, working alongside our chiropractors to deliver integrated wellness care. You'll be joining another massage therapist who works at our office on Tuesday through Friday. We have a well established patient base looking to get massages, we are looking for a talented and focused therapist to fill this need. There are opportunities with growth of your schedule as your patient base/clientle grows. Linens will be supplied by the clinic. The therapist will be responsible for wash and laundry of these linens.
Schedule:
- Monday 8am-6pm, Patients will be scheduled by the clinic with your availability
(Some flexibility available based on your availability and clinic needs)
Compensation:
$28 - $32 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional, therapeutic 60-minute massages tailored to patient needs (focusing on relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness)
- Assess patient conditions and adjust techniques accordingly
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the chiropractic team
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment
- Promote the benefits of ongoing massage therapy to support patient wellness
Requirements:
- Current Florida Massage Therapy License (MA # required)
- Experience in therapeutic/clinical massage (experience in a chiropractic or medical setting is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical aspects of massage
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
