We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our expanding team. This is an opportunity to become part of a practice that values clinical excellence, professional autonomy, innovation, and exceptional patient care.
Position Summary
This is a full-time W-2 outpatient position providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
Weekly Schedule
Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (In Office)
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Remote)
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Remote)
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (In Office)
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (In Office)
Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and two remote workdays each week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions
- Provide evidence-based medication management
- Incorporate supportive psychotherapy into medication management visits when appropriate
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, schools, and other healthcare professionals
- Complete timely and accurate documentation utilizing our Electronic Health Record and AI-assisted documentation tools
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care
Minimum Qualifications
- PMHNP-BC Certification
- Active Rhode Island APRN License
- Active Massachusetts APRN License
- Current Rhode Island DEA Registration (Massachusetts DEA registration is not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and clinical decision-making abilities
