The Night Auditor is responsible for the safety and well being of all guests and the security of the building from the hours of 11:00pm to 7:00am or appropriate hours set by management
Night auditors perform basic accounting tasks, however, the majority of the job duties focus on providing guest service.
-A professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality is necessary at all times.
-Candidates for Night Audit must also have a valid driver's license upon hire.
-Responsibilities and Duties Maintain responsibility and accountability for the hotel property and the safety of guests and have authority for the hotel operations while on duty.
-Handle guest check-ins and checkouts efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
-Provide information to all guests in a courteous and informative manner; Must have ability to keep guest information confidential.
-Prepare and have readied by shift change each day specified reports for managers. Receive and transmit mail, phone and written message for guests.
-Post all charges and compute guest bills using PMS. Balance daily revenues of Front Office and F&B operations.
-Audits hotel PMS to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions.
-Notify the General Manager, AGM and FOM of any unusual incidents regarding operation and security of the hotel.
-Knows all emergency procedures for hotel and guest safety. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
