Position Summary
Laura's Sparkle N Shine is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to maintain the leasing office and common areas at Arrowhead Apartments in Palatine. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can work independently while providing a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
ResponsibilitiesLeasing Office Cleaning
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restroom(s)
- Sweep and mop floors
- Perform light dusting of surfaces and furniture
- Clean interior glass and entry doors
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance throughout the office
Apartment Common Areas
- Vacuum hallway carpeting
- Sweep and mop building entranceways
- Sweep and mop laundry room floors
- Empty trash containers in common areas
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards as observed
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean and presentable
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical cleaning duties
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
