Job Summary
Bakehouse 46 is looking for a creative, results-driven Marketing & Social Media Manager to help grow our brand across Metro Detroit. We're seeking someone who can create compelling visual content, manage social media, develop promotional campaigns, and elevate our brand both online and in-store.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, food-focused environment and enjoys bringing brands to life through engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Photograph food, beverages, bakery displays, and in-store experiences
- Capture and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Plan and manage Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content calendars
- Create Meta advertising campaigns focused on increasing traffic and sales
- Design graphics for social media, email marketing, digital signage, website, and in-store marketing materials
- Develop monthly promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing concepts
- Write engaging social media captions and promotional copy
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new ideas
- Coordinate occasional on-location content shoots at our bakery cafés
- Collaborate with ownership on marketing strategy and campaign performance
- Report on key metrics and results
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing food photography and social media content
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Meta Ads Manager
- Graphic design experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to shoot and edit high-quality photo and video content
- Understanding of branding, marketing, and promotional strategy
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects independently
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
