Recruiting / Sales Assistant – Manufacturing Focus
- Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Location: Chicago, IL – Irving Park Rd. & Damen Ave. area
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Work Location: In person
Some level of Japanese/English or Korean/English bilingual ability preferred.
Position Overview
Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking an Entry-Level Recruiting / Sales Assistant for our Chicago office.
Depending on your strengths and interests, you may primarily support either our Recruiting team or Sales/Business Development team. This is not necessarily a dual recruiting-and-sales role.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting Support
- Search for and contact potential candidates
- Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews
- Review resumes and maintain candidate records
- Support Senior Recruiters with active searches
- Sales / Business Development Support
- Research prospective companies and business opportunities
- Make outbound calls and introduce Activ8's recruiting services
- Assist with lead generation and appointment setting
- Maintain client records and support sales follow-up
- Both areas involve regular phone and email communication with new people.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Some professional experience in an office, customer service, hospitality, administrative, retail, front desk, call center, sales support, or similar environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with making frequent professional phone calls
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Interested in learning recruiting, sales, or business development
Preferred
- Japanese/English or Korean/English bilingual ability
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Familiarity with Japanese or Korean business culture
Full-Time & Part-Time
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday during our regular business hours of 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- Part-Time: Flexible weekday scheduling is available during regular business hours. Candidates should provide their weekly availability when applying.
