Summary
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Montgomery. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe medication practices and providing exceptional patient care, contributing significantly to our mission of health improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients about their medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform IV infusions and ensure aseptic techniques are followed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Support critical care initiatives by providing timely medication administration.
- Participate in training programs for new pharmacy staff.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
- Proven experience in LTC pharmacy or hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
