Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed regional targets, focusing on retail stores and commercial clients.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication, personalized service, and upselling techniques.
- Manage route driving schedules efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct merchandising activities at client locations to promote product visibility and maximize sales opportunities.
- Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices during product handling, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Utilize strong math skills for pricing negotiations, cost analysis, and sales forecasting to optimize profitability.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and route logistics to support organizational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles with a focus on customer relationship building.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving and route driving.
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for safe commercial vehicle operation.
- Strong communication skills for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
- Basic math proficiency for pricing strategies, upselling opportunities, and financial calculations.
- Experience with automobile transportation or heavy lifting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with merchandising, organizational skills, and route planning tools.
- Military experience related to logistics or driving is a plus but not required.
