Orbital Welder - orbital weld technician.
Full time position, day shift- immediate start, competitive wages, profit sharing, bonuses, rich health insurance plan & company paid short term disability insurance. Long term disability, dental and life available but not employer sponsored.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Set up and weld Ø1/8” – Ø1” stainless and titanium tube and fittings in a cleanroom environment
- Full cleanroom gowning required
- Ability to interpret blue prints and specifications and produce finished part within tolerances of .002 to .005.
- Use of measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges to ensure accuracy
- Weld couponing and borescoping
- Ability to keep work orders on schedule
- Able to adhere to quality and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain clean work area
- Able to speak, write and read English
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to cut and face tube a positive
- Ability to perform vacuum leak testing a positive
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid welding certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
