Overview
We are seeking an experienced, skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling gates to meet project specifications and quality standards. This position requires technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow all gate shop specs to fabricate the finished product
- Use and knowledge of all equipment and tools as needed.
- Measure materials accurately to ensure precise fabrication.
- Operate rigging equipment for lifting and positioning heavy metal parts safely within the shop/yard.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear protective equipment at all times.
Qualifications
- Gate shop welder, fabricator experience required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours. 8-10 hour days, 5-6 days per week, as needed.
- Must have no work restrictions.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lb daily.
- Familiar with shop math/basic math skills.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials safely within a confined space.
- Valid certification in welding is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts is a plus.
