Endicott Preschool seeks AM/PM full-time (32.75 hrs per week) Teacher Assistant of Pre-Kindergarten beginning Fall 2026. Position performs Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 3:15 pm with an extra half-hour team planning time three days a week. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31. This is an OCFS licensed position and requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training. As the teacher assistant, you will assist the lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom and be able to lead the class when the teacher is absent.
This position does not provide health or retirement benefits.
Credentials preferred, but not required: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the Council for Professional Recognition or at least 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education.
