Job Description
Seeking a dependable and reliable employee to fill immediate full-time opening for Green Sand Maker in a cast iron foundry. Must be able to work from 6:00 am – 4:30 pm with overtime when needed. Must be 18 or older. Great benefits available after 90 days.

Starting Rate: $16.00 or more with experience

Job Duties:
Produce green sand for use in green sand molds as directed by supervisor and daily schedule. Individual will also perform shake out (break down of the previous day’s molds) at the start of each morning. Individual must have an eye for detail and ensure that every batch of sand is made to specification. Job requires lifting, shoveling, climbing ladders, and other physical work as well as operating a forklift.
Individual will also assist on the melt floor, shifting weights, refilling raw materials bins in the Melt department, and moving molds or completed raw castings with a forklift as necessary. Individual will also assist in the grinding department, blasting and grinding castings, as necessary. Individual is responsible for ensuring that their area is kept clean and organized every day. General labor as required. Will train as required.

Qualification Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience needed
- Forklift operation experience a plus
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have an eye for detail
- Must have dependable transportation
- High school diploma or GED necessary
Experience:
- General labor: 1 year (Preferred)
- General labor and molding skills: 1 year (Preferred)
