We are assisting the hiring management company in recruiting a Food & Beverage Manager for The Oak House at Del Webb Oak Creek, a private 55 and better community in North Fort Myers, Florida.
The Oak House is more than a restaurant. It is a place where residents gather, connect, celebrate, and experience hospitality that feels personal, polished, and well cared for.
We are seeking a gracious, hands-on food and beverage leader who can help shape the daily service experience, support the front-of-house team, and build a strong hospitality culture. The ideal candidate is a great leader, team builder, and culture builder who brings warmth, professionalism, operational discipline, and a heart for service.
This role will work closely with the Executive Chef and Community Lifestyle Director to support daily dining, resident experiences, community events, banquets, catering, and special gatherings.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being present on the floor, leading by example, coaching a team, partnering with culinary and lifestyle leadership, and creating a consistent resident and guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily front-of-house restaurant operations
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to support service timing, presentation, menu communication, and overall food and beverage execution
- Collaborate with the Community Lifestyle Director to support resident events, community gatherings, banquets, catering, and special experiences
- Coach, train, and develop service team members with professionalism and care
- Build a positive team culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, respect, and service excellence
- Support service flow, table presence, and guest satisfaction
- Assist with scheduling, team communication, service standards, and operational follow-through
- Support banquets, catering, private gatherings, community events, and special food and beverage experiences
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, hospitality, and operational excellence
- Monitor resident and guest feedback and help turn insight into thoughtful service improvements
- Support inventory awareness, ordering coordination, vendor communication, and daily operational needs
- Represent The Oak House and the community with discretion, warmth, and integrity
Qualifications
- Food and beverage leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong front-of-house restaurant, club, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience
- Ability to lead, coach, encourage, and hold a hospitality team accountable
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Calm, composed, and service-centered leadership style
- Comfortable working in a private, resident-focused or member-style environment
- Ability to support daily dining, events, banquets, catering, and community gatherings
- Ability to work collaboratively with culinary, lifestyle, and community leadership
- Knowledge of POS systems, service standards, inventory basics, and restaurant operations preferred
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant, event, and community needs
