What You'll Be Doing in the role of Coordinator, Peer-to-Peer Programs:
The Coordinator, Peer-to-Peer Signature Programs will be a key member of the Community Development team, providing support to the 3-Day, Race for the Cure, and MORE THAN PINK Walk. They will support a range of projects related to the planning and execution of Komen’s portfolio of Peer-to-Peer fundraising programs, managing multiple activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects stay organized and on track. They will facilitate seamless communication across the team, internal departments, local market teams, agency partners, and vendors, providing consistent follow-up to ensure responsibilities are completed and deadlines are met. The coordinator will be the go-to resource for local market teams for Race and Walk T-shirt programs, signage, materials, and top fundraiser recognition pieces, helping ensure all deliverables are completed and received according to established timelines. They will also manage day-to-day operations related to sourcing and ordering items for all Signature Programs, working with Procurement, agency partners, and vendors to streamline processes, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and conserve donor dollars. They will take ownership of assigned projects through successful completion and serve as a reliable, organized resource who keeps teams, vendors, and projects moving forward.
What You Will Bring to the Table:

Coordinate T-shirt and merchandise programs for Signature Programs, including design coordination, ordering, quantity management, fulfillment, and cost allocation for up to 40 concurrent and overlapping Race and Walk events, as well as print-on-demand partnerships that allow fundraisers to create and sell event-related merchandise to support their individual fundraising efforts.

Source, order, and coordinate event materials, signage, recognition items, and mission programming elements for all Signature Programs across local markets, ensuring quantities, production, delivery, and event-specific needs are accurately coordinated and completed according to established timelines.

Develop and maintain tools and resources for local markets to coordinate event needs, deadlines, quantities, and deliverables for T-shirts, event signage, and other Race/Walk materials.

Manage project timelines and provide consistent follow-up with local market staff, vendors, agency partners, and internal teams to ensure responsibilities and deliverables are completed on schedule and projects remain on track.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and agency partners to ensure prompt communication, competitive pricing, accurate cost tracking, quality products, and timely delivery of materials.

Support sponsor activation and event branding needs by coordinating the process for local markets to submit and approve Race T-shirt back artwork and custom signage for Race and Walk events, providing follow-up and ensuring artwork and materials are approved and submitted according to established deadlines and production requirements.

Partner with Community Development team members, internal Komen departments, local market teams, and outside agencies to support and optimize fundraising programs and events.

Code and process invoices, track payment due dates, and confirm payment processing for assigned programs and vendors, maintaining accurate financial records and cost tracking.

Partner with the 3-Day team to coordinate event-specific recognition pieces, honor materials, signage, and other program needs.

Support recurring team meetings and administrative coordination, including preparing materials, tracking follow-up items, and supporting biweekly meetings as needed.
Complete day-to-day administrative and operational functions necessary to support assigned programs and events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We Already Know You Will Also Have:

2-5 years of experience in innovative fundraising or event operations, or doing something similar with outstanding results

Working knowledge of systems and tools like Salesforce, Asana and Blackbaud’s Luminate Online, and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools

Experience with numbers and understanding of the basics of budgeting

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and advanced proficiency in Excel

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Ability to support an overall strategic business plan, to see the big picture and understand how the tactical activities that can often seem small all contribute to overall success of a project

Travel requirements required outside of your home office may be up to 25% or less depending on our business needs.

Approximate hourly rate $21.03-26.67, exact compensation ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, experience and geographic location.
