Jr Shipping Associate Job Description
We are looking for a capable Jr Shipping Associate who is proficient in safely packing equipment for shipping out orders. Experience in shipping is extremely helpful to achieve success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow the logistics shipment guidelines for all inward/outward transactions
- Ownership of all product shipping locations to ensure all are routinely replenished, organized and safely in place (Daily)
- Assist in shipping customer orders
- Ensure outgoing equipment is cleaned before packing
- Generate shipping labels and packing slips
- Assemble and prepare outgoing shipments
- Excellent data/order entry skills
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and follow verbal instructions
- Experience in shipping and receiving a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excels in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug test
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
