We are a small private practice. Hours are 8am to 4:30pm Mon-Thursday. Friday 8am to 12:30pm.
We do not offer medical benefits at this time.
Applicant must have completed a MA course and graduated/ RMA/CMA certification not required
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical history information.
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance billing.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as collecting specimens and conducting urine tests.
- Assist with medical procedures, including X-rays and minor surgical procedures.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Communicate test results to patients
