Baby Got Bark is hiring a reliable Dog Walker for weekday dog walking and pet care. This role involves visiting clients’ homes to provide dog walking, pet sitting visits, and general pet care during midday hours. Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts are available for interested candidates. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors in all weather, love animals, and are dependable and professional.
Qualifications – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Required
- Available Mon–Fri 8 AM–4 PM
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Live within the service area or 15 minutes of Wheaton Metro
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Smartphone with data plan
- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable, punctual, and strong communicator
- Ability to pass criminal background and driving record checks
- Ability to provide professional references
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior, handling, and general pet care
Preferred
- Experience with dog walking, pet sitting, or animal care
- Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Responsibilities – Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
- Complete 4–8+ scheduled dog walks or pet care visits per day
- Provide safe, attentive, and compassionate dog walking and pet care
- Download and use the pet app BGB uses to complete each job and communicate with clients.
- Travel between client homes within the service area
- Monitor pet safety and well-being
- Communicate visit updates with the team and clients
- Follow company protocols for leash handling, home access, and pet safety
- Participate in phone and walking interview as part of hiring
- Optional evening, weekend, holiday, or overnight shifts for interested candidates
