Assistant Manager Trainee – Warehouse & Events

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager Trainee to support our warehouse and event operations. This is a hands-on, growth-focused position designed for someone looking to develop leadership, logistics, and inventory management skills while working closely with an experienced management team.
This role involves warehouse work, event setup and breakdown and staff support in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics
- Assist with coordinating company vehicles, including cleanliness, basic upkeep, and rental logistics
- Ensure vehicles are prepared before events and properly handled after events
Event Operations
- Assist with event setups and breakdowns
- Help mentor and support staff during events
- Assist with addressing post-event staff or operational issues
- Must have a clean driver license and be willing to operate a box truck
Inventory Management
- Assist with maintaining inventory
- Help process missing items, invoices, and inventory adjustments
- Maintain organization standards for warehouse inventory and returned items
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of rental items
- Identify excess inventory and assist with resale or redistribution
Warehouse Operations
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Assist with warehouse procedures and operational systems
- Participate in training and ongoing process improvement
Schedule & Availability
- Initial work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday
- Schedule may change based on event needs
- Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days and often require long shifts and late nights
- Flexibility is required to meet business and event demands

Seasonal Expectations
- Summer is our busiest season
- Peak season require extended hours, weekend availability, and increased workload
- Time-off requests during peak periods may be limited based on operational needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a warehouse and event environment with varying physical demands

- Strong organizational and communication skill
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
