Gutter Installer Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gutter Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutter systems on residential and commercial buildings. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, comfort working at heights, and experience with hand and power tools.
Roofer Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble gutters and downspouts to fit buildings precisely.
- Install various gutter types (seamless aluminum, steel, copper, vinyl, etc.).
- Secure gutters and downspouts using appropriate hangers, brackets, and screws.
- Diagnose and repair damaged gutter systems.
- Inspect roofs, fascia boards, and drainage systems before and after installation.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at job sites.
- Communicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and occasionally customers.
Gutter Installer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Prior Gutter experience or on-the-job training
- Familiarity with various hand tools, including shingle cutters and hatchets
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Can withstand extensive bending, kneeling for long periods
- Adhere to construction site safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
